INTELLIGENT REHABILITATION
ARC intellicare is the telerehabilitation platform for home use that can provide the patient with automatic feedback in real time on the correct execution of motor, respiratory and posture exercises thanks to the use of inertial motion sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms.
The platform allows both synchronous and asynchronous remote supervision of the activities carried out, qualitative and/or quantitative feedback and the customization of the rehabilitation program in all its phases.
HOME REHABILITATION
- Personalization and great flexibility of the rehabilitation process
- Patient step-by-step guide
- Constant monitoring of the rehabilitation activity
- Home activity without occupying health, hospital or outpatient spaces
- Engagement in carrying out activities
- Significant increase in adherence to the program (mean adherence: 88%)
PERSONALIZATION OF THE TREATMENT
ARC intellicare allows physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assign patients new exercises and/or select exercises from the library, to customize home treatment – including video tutorials and suggestions – based on validated protocols, specific for different neurological conditions (eg. neuromotor exercises for post-stroke functional recovery) and not (e.g. respiratory exercises for cardio-pulmonary and post-Covid19 rehabilitation).
REHABILITATION SESSIONS IN TELEPRESENCE
Patients can perform safe rehabilitation sessions by wearing sensors and following video tutorials and tips from the intellicare ARC library, during unsupervised sessions, led by a virtual coach (i.e. receiving AI-based feedback in real time).
In addition, ARC intellicare allows physiotherapists and occupational therapists to conduct rehabilitation sessions in telepresence, thanks to the integrated audio-video channel.
HOME ASSESSMENT OF RESPIRATORY FUNCTION
A commercial pulse oximeter (CE certified medical device) can be integrated into ARC intellicare to allow the measurement of O2 saturation and heart rate at home by each user, as needed, both at rest and after physical activity.
MONITORING OF ADHERENCE AND OUTCOME
A dashboard allows both patients and physiotherapists to view information on adherence to the rehabilitation plan and the outcomes related to specific exercises.
The ARC intellicare module dedicated to the therapist, connected to cloud services also accessible from mobile, allows integration from the hospital to the patient’s home, to promote continuity of care after discharge.
MAIN END USERS
Subjects suffering from chronic and / or neurodegenerative diseases – Parkinson’s Respiratory disorders – COPD
Post-Covid19 patients
and post-stroke patients
Elderly subjects – both healthy and suffering from one or more conditions with mild to moderate disability, who live alone or in facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities
THE ADVANTAGES OF ARC INTELLICARE
- No installation needed
- Lightweight and easy to wear
- Allows the rehabilitation center or the national health service to activate home services based on its own protocols and procedures
- User-friendly
- Wireless charging of sensors
- Integrated SpO2 monitoring sensor
- Possibility of integrating other commercial sensors and third-party devices (telemedicine)
